About Us

Hey there, and thanks for stopping by! We are Daniel and Dr. Michaela Weber from the Birmingham, Alabama area. We've been happily married for over 10 years (together for 18!) and share our home with six rescue fuzz kids. Our love for animals has shaped our lives and led to the creation of Doggo’s Choice.

Daniel has over 25 years of experience in Sales Management and, after a meaningful career shift, has returned to the corporate world. Michaela, with 20+ years in nonprofit leadership, holds a PhD in Human Services and is now a certified canine nutritionist.

Why We Care
Our passion for animals runs deep. In 2022, our Great Pyrenees mix, Teddy, was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma at just three years old. Determined to find a better way to support our fuzz kids, we dove into research on canine nutrition. This journey led to a complete overhaul of how we fed our pack—no more questionable, processed kibble. We began making fresh, human-grade meals and treats, focusing on single ingredients and natural nutrition.

The results were remarkable! Teddy has been cancer-free since his surgery, and our senior dog, Baxter, who had struggled with joint issues, now runs and plays like a pup again. The shift to fresh, whole foods transformed our dogs’ health, reducing trips to the vet and giving them vibrant, happy lives.
